Welcome to The Lower Woods, approximately 2 acres of private woodland designed for dogs to explore, play, and enjoy a little adventure.
These private woods are perfect for curious dogs, with tyres to explore, some filled with woodchip for those who love to dig, as well as a tunnel and established shrubs to investigate. There’s also a seating area where you can relax and take in the stunning views across the New Forest while your dog enjoys their time.
For your convenience, we provide waste bags, bins, and fresh drinking water, topped up daily.
The woods are fully enclosed with 6ft fencing, including a smaller gauge mesh at the base to help accommodate smaller dogs. There is a dividing fence between the two areas, and we’re continuing to enhance natural screening to create a more private and calm environment.

Please note that the ground may become muddy after periods of heavy rainfall, particularly along the left-hand fence line where conditions can be softer underfoot.
